Well, at the urging of many of you, my fans, I have felt the pressure to update my blog!! Last Wednesday night I was at Young Women's and since the Sunday previous our ward was split, we decided to have a fun party!! Well, once again I was the entertainment for the evening!! (I gotta stop doing things like this!!) So, we were playing a game where you had to exchange seats it you have done something the person in the middle said. I got up to move to a seat close by me, but was beaten out by a sweet young thing!! So, I saw another seat close by and moved towards it, but again, was beaten to it!! So I turned around quick and saw a seat CLEAR across the room and headed for it!! Well, my ability to turn and run ain't what it used to be!! (Well, it never really was MUCH!!) As I turned, I could feel that I didn't have good footing to start off with, and soon felt I was going DOWN!! I remember my arms flailing around trying to get my balance, but to no avail!! Just as I got to the chair, DOWN I went!!!! I did a total face plant - with my nose hitting first, and was immediately in a pool of blood - that continued dripping and dripping some more!! I remember lying there and the room got real quiet, and finally some leaders were there helping to get the bleeding to stop. I laid there awhile, and I heard one of the leaders say, "We better call her DAD"!!!! I was alert enough to say, "No, please call Randy"!! So they called him and he came down and took me away to the Alta View Hospital ER. They took some X-Rays and said it was indeed broken - I can feel the bone almost out of my left nostril!! (TMI? Sorry!!) So they stitched the gash on my nose with 8 stitches and sent us on our way. So here are a couple lovely pictures for your viewing pleasure!! I do want you to know that I am a clean faller - nary a drop of blood got on my clothes!!!! Thanks to Randy & Jean for their help & support!!!!

IT'S ABOUT TIME!!!!
I know, I know....I've been a slacker, but I finally have some pictures to share!! I don't have a lot to share, but thought I'd better let you know what's happening around the castle. First of all, it was South Jordan's town days last weekend and the Historical Committee had an entry. Grandpa & Grandma were in it, so I have a couple pictures of that. I had a good time - Ashlee & Sheree showed up at about the same time I did and so we were together with Ashlee's 2 boys. They are so cute and fun!! Jean, Randy & Dallin also came and joined us. Now if only I can figure out how to rearrange these pictures!!!! WOOHOO!!!!

Mom votes for a new picture....
So after reviewing the first blog posting, we decided (through some coaxing....) to include a cuter, moh bettah picture!!
Here's mom and dad in their beautiful garden!!
Dad: "I heartily concur that we have a monthly Family blog. Do you agree?"
Mom: "It sure would be fun for us to receive one each month so we can see how our grandkids (and great-grandkids) are growing!!"
Wow! We did it!
Today, Pioneer Day 2007, we (Elmo, Lois, Jill and Jean) (well, actually Jill and Jean) created our first blog!!!! (We're pretty amazed at ourselves!)
As you can see from Dad's picture, we have been raised to be extremely patriotic -- down to the covering of our boo-boo's with flag band-aids!
Mom and Dad had their annual 4th of July Celebration, inviting family and friends to join in honoring our country.
Jill continues to work at the Jordan River Temple, and has now moved to the Draper branch of Home Savings Bank! (Yeah -- less driving time, cheaper gas bills!)
Jean just returned from 3 weeks at the Nauvoo Pageant, and is not quite ready to go back to school (good thing, since she has a couple more weeks . . . ).
Hey -- here's a great idea -- can we make this a family blog? Everybody putting in their two cents' worth, so we can keep up on each other's lives? Whaddya think? (Does anybody know if we can even do that on this kind of a blog? Kristi?)
Looking forward to hearing from all of you!
Love,
Elmo, Lois, Jill and Jean
